What a whirlwind! Tech rehearsals Monday through Wednesday, Invited Dress Thursday, show Friday night, TWO shows on Saturday! Not to mention two flat tires, a broken microphone, and a missing prop! As the show says, “Uncertainty is our constant companion.” But the show always goes on, and it was an amazing weekend! Thank you to all the friends, family, community members, caregivers, and more who came out to support our little cast this weekend. Backstage pictures to come!
Our cast had an audience for the first time last night! Enjoy some exclusive photos before they’re released to the public!
Costumes for the first time! The challenges - and hilarity - that come with putting costumes together for the first time is always one of the best parts of Tech Week. It gives some humor and excitement to what can often be a tedious process. But this cast is amazing, and had zero hiccups! We enjoyed putting the next level of polish on the show. We’re excited for you to come experience it with us!
Wednesday night’s an official Dress Rehearsal. Here we go!!!
All members of the cast, crew and band met together last night for the first time! Tech rehearsals involve lighting, sound, and technical elements of a show, and putting them together for the first time can be a challenge! We were also recovering from Tropical Storm Eduardo - the first time the building has lost power since Harvey! Things have been turned off and on that haven’t been touched in a decade, so finding new electrical problems has been the challenge of the week!
But the cast, crew, and band are excited to bring everything together. Tuesday night - costumes!
